Every year, 407 Day is a moment to celebrate what makes Central Florida special: its people, its heart, and its commitment to giving back. 

This year, A Gift for Teaching was honored to celebrate alongside our partners at Orlando Health, who showed up in a big way for local classrooms. Across three Orlando Health hospitals, healthcare team members took time out of their day to give back by assembling more than $32,000 worth of essential school supplies in kits, each packed with a handwritten note of encouragement for teachers. 

These Kits for Kids will be distributed to Central Florida teachers, helping ensure students have the tools they need to learn, create, and succeed. For educators, access to classroom supplies means less stress, more opportunity, and greater impact for their students. 

We are incredibly grateful to Orlando Health for choosing A Gift for Teaching as a 407 Day partner and for demonstrating how meaningful team building can also drive community change.
