Build backpacks for brighter futures in June!

The Great Big Backpack Build is the ultimate community giveback project to help guarantee thousands of students will begin the school year excited and prepared to learn. This is an impactful experience for any size company, business, employee resource group, or community organization.

Family teams can join in on the fun, too! Each registration will help fund and build thousands of backpacks with school supplies that will spread smiles and student success.

Collect Top Essentials: Let’s get ready for the school year! Community drives and fundraisers provide one-third of A Gift For Teaching’s annual distribution of supplies to teachers and students.

Back-to-School Telethon

Join WKMG News 6 for a one-day special in August!

The Back-to-School Telethon broadcasts LIVE to get results for local teachers and students. Through A Gift For Teaching, every dollar received is transformed to $10 worth of supplies to teachers and students, but for 24 hours, the impact of every donation will go further.
