This year sure has been a challenging one, and without the dedication of so many wonderful volunteers, we’re not sure what we would have done.

To put the huge support we’ve received into perspective, we’ve had to-date this school year:

We greatly appreciate all of our volunteers who go above and beyond each day to help our teachers and students have the tools they need to succeed. Continued volunteer support has allowed A Gift for Teaching to serve more than 6,170 teachers and distribute more than $5.4 million worth of supplies.

A special congratulations to our “Outstanding Service Award” winner and our youth “Rising Star Service Award” winner!

Terry Ault – Terry has volunteered more than 275 hours this school year, and it isn’t over! The above-and-beyond support that Terry has provided has given the staff more opportunity to focus on programming and how to continue best serving teachers. Terry is an advocate for everything A Gift for Teaching and is always working with new volunteers to get them settled and immersed in all our programs.

Logan Valenzuela – Logan is a new student volunteer this year. Since he started, he has brought a positive and exciting energy to the team. He is always willing to help with any task necessary and takes initiative on his own to make sure we are providing the best service for teachers.

Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers, and Happy Volunteer Appreciation Week!
