PENCIL BOY EXPRESS – THE MOBILE FREE STORE
Halfway through this school year, Pencil Boy Express – The Mobile Free Store has completed fourteen school visits, delivering more than $340,000 worth of classroom supplies directly to educators.
The addition of the ‘Extra Credit’ section increased average shop values by over $100, fostering a culture of sharing by encouraging teachers to pass along supplies they may not need to peers who do.

Pencil Boy Curbside continues to gain momentum, with 89% of orders now coordinated by a representative from each participating school. To meet this growing demand, we trained volunteers to serve as shift leads, increasing our order capacity by 10%.
Together, shift leads and their teams fulfilled 1,545 supply orders, distributing more than $583,000 worth of school supplies.
