This school year, ArtWorks has made a significant impact on both teachers and students across Orange County public schools. With your support, we were able to expand access to free essential art supplies, deliver engaging professional development, and spark creativity in classrooms.
AUNT WINNIE’S ART CORNER

This year, more than 3,800 teachers shopped over 14,000 times, resulting in over $1 million worth of art materials distributed to Orange County classrooms.
In its first year on Pencil Boy Express – The Mobile Free Store, Aunt Winnie’s Art Corner opened more doors for endless artistic exploration.
To honor World Art Day, more than $91,000 worth of art supplies were distributed, empowering educators to bring even more color, originality, and expression into their classrooms.
Along with an expanded art section, teachers also hand-picked 15 essential items—like construction paper, watercolors, paintbrushes, and Model Magic—making sure every student had the tools to imagine, experiment, and innovate.
WORLD ART DAY

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

At the start of the school year, 135 teachers attended a pre-planning workshop led by educators from The Morse Museum and hosted by OCPS. Additionally, 86 teachers participated in learning sessions at The Morse Museum, exploring the work of Louis Comfort Tiffany.
To top it off, 13 teachers joined a bonus workshop with Kris Finn of The Art Bus, where they studied Louise Nevelson’s assemblages, created their own, and left with a full class set of supplies.
Increased workshop participation led to the distribution of 84 art kits, resulting in over 15,000 student art projects.
These kits helped teachers turn inspiration into hands-on artistry in their classrooms.
Together, we continue to enrich the educational experience, providing both free materials and curriculum that empower students to discover, design, and thrive.
ART KITS

Whether it’s a brushstroke on a canvas or a spark of confidence in a student, your impact can reach far beyond the classroom walls.
When you become a Classroom Hero, you make programs like ArtWorks possible every year. Your monthly support helps ensure that more children have the supplies and opportunities to create, learn, and shine through art.
