Unlike many occupations where the tools to do the job are provided or easily available, teachers often have to buy supplies themselves or depend on the generosity of their community. In the 2024-2025 school year, A Gift for Teaching provided $11.8 million worth of free supplies to local classrooms to help cover this gap.

But the new school year needs new school supplies.
