Did you know there are more than 200 public schools in Orange County?
And not every school has access to the resources they need – until someone like you steps in.
But you might wonder: what really happens with my donation after I give?
So here’s how it works:
A Gift for Teaching transforms every dollar received into $10 worth of supplies.
How is this done? By leveraging bulk buying power for essentials like pencils, paper, and art materials as well as a strong network of national and local partnerships for surplus product – not to mention support from community fundraisers, donations, and supply drives.
Next, volunteers help sort and stock these items to create a positive shopping experience for educators throughout the school year. Each month, eligible teachers have free access to these educational resources by shopping in-store, online for pick-up, or on the mobile unit during one of its weekly school visits. Special programs are also offered to new teachers, art teachers, and students interested in string music.
The impact?
Teachers can focus on inspiring young minds instead of worrying about resources. Students can get tools to dream, learn, and create with joy instead of limits.
All of this is available at no cost – because of your donation. Your generosity doesn’t only provide tangible supplies, it empowers educators and inspires future leaders. Classrooms become places of possibility and the journey of your donation sparks countless success stories along the way.
For transparency, A Gift for Teaching shares an annual report card in July after each school year to show how your support is making an impact.
Then what?
Learning should never be limited by zip code.
The future is in our classrooms today and you can help ensure more local classrooms are supported not just once, but all year long. Become a Classroom Hero with a monthly donation: your gifts will be there for teachers and students every day, month after month, all school year.
Be the reason learning never stops – from the first day of kindergarten to high-school graduation.
Choose your journey today.
