First Impressions Coordinator
You only have one chance to make a first impression and we want your help to make it a good one! Help greet guests, answer telephones and assist AGFT staff with projects while maintaining our front desk. May be asked to assist in the Free Store.
Shifts available Monday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Morning Free Store Assistant
Help with various duties needed to run the Free Store such as stocking, sorting, cleaning and merchandising the Free Store shelves to beautify A Gift For Teaching while keeping an accurate inventory. Retail experience a plus but not required.
Assistants needed in mornings, Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Afternoon Free Store Assistant
Assist staff during teacher shopping with jobs such as: check out, teacher assistance, restock and cleaning.
Assistants needed Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.; and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Event Assistant
Are you the host with the most? If you love planning parties and attending special events, join our volunteer team by assisting with events on and off site.
Evening and weekend availability required. Events scheduled throughout the year. Contact Volunteer Manager for details.
A Gift For Teaching Ambassadors
Are you passionate and have a knack for encouraging others to get involved? If you believe strongly in the work AGFT does for the public school system and community then join our team as an AGFT Ambassador. Represent AGFT at volunteer fairs and community events, attend speaking engagements on behalf of AGFT, and lead volunteer groups in the Free Store.
