Community Drives
A Gift For Teaching holds two very important community drives during the year that give the Central Florida community an easy and fun way to get involved and also help AGFT collect basic school supplies and items that are not often found as surplus from local businesses.
But just because the campaigns focus on specific months it doesn't mean you can't hold a drive any other time. The three Free Stores are open throughout the entire school year and we always need brand new basics and books.
Whether it's a team-building event in your office or a neighborhood collaboration, supply drives help keep the shelves of AGFT's Free Stores stocked so teachers can prepare their classrooms and students throughout the year. To find out how you can start a community drive, contact Yolanda.

Bright Kids Book Drive
For the entire month of March, campaign partners co-hosts
Bright House Networks our annual Bright Kids Book Drive campaign collecting new and gently-used K-12 books for students in need. AGFT is always seeking the community's help to keep the book sections of the free stores stocked with a wide variety of age-appropriate reading materials for students and their classroom libraries. Donations can be dropped off at AGFT Free Store location throughout the month. For your added convenience, books may also be delivered to any
CFE Federal Credit Union branch from March 14 - April 4, 2012.
