What AGFT Accepts
New or gently used items in good condition are, to AGFT, our teachers, and students newfound treasures. Always needed items include: traditional school supplies, office supplies, books and other learning materials.
New promotional items and gifts are just the thing for rewarding students' achievements: buttons, tote bags, mugs, t-shirts, key rings, clocks, water bottles, visors, caps and logo items.
Even raw materials and imperfect or discontinued products can become integral pieces in a classroom project. Give us a call to let us know what unique items your company has available.

Please keep in mind that items should be able to fit in a teacher’s car or mini van.
With ever-changing, new-and-improved technology and equipment, individuals and businesses are always wondering what to do with the 'old stuff.' Through a unique partnership with Southeastern Data, A Gift For Teaching can turn discarded, recycled electronics into educational supplies for the region's struggling students - helping both the local environment and our local children.
The process is so simple, too! When you donate your business' unwanted electronic items, Southeastern Data will safely recycle and remarket the materials, and donate a percentage of the resulting revenue back to A Gift For Teaching to get more educational supplies directly into the hands of struggling students. What AGFT Cannot Accept
Unfortunately, we cannot accept used stuffed animals, large furniture or outdated office equipment.
Schedule a Pickup or Drop off
A Gift For Teaching gladly accepts donations being dropped off during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m).
Through a generous donation, AGFT has secured a large box truck that is available to pickup items at company work sites. So that AGFT can remain efficient, we ask that you have a minimum of one pallet of items for pickup. Because AGFT typically makes one to two pickups a week, we ask that you arrange pickup ahead of time. This enables us to arrange pickups geographically and help keep fuel costs down. It also provides our donors with a set time to be ready for our arrival.
